Unsung Nashville

We are a website dedicated to bringing light upon the legacies of three of Nashville's influential and pioneering artists/ musicians.

At Unsung Nashville, we're passionate about telling our readers the stories of these extraordinary Black women, which are not only amazing but fascinating as well. We believe that it is important to acknowledge all history, especially narratives which go historically unrecognized and uncelebrated. As the history of Nashville is vast, and ever evolving, it is imperative to celebrate these unsung heroes in order to keep their legacies alive. Without the contributions and legacies of these women, the evolution of modern music genres such as country, RnB, Rock n Roll, and even Rap, may not be what they are today.
